Biloxi River Paintball

We wanted to remind our players for the Op. Black Rain, that BRP does not accept credit/debit cards. We will only accept cash, local check or money order the day of the game.

This is the updated map of the playing area for Op. Black Rain. We were unable with the weather to completly open the entire area for play, The small area shaded Grey will be out of bounds, and will be marked with boundry tape.

We wanted to post some general basic rules of play for this game for our new players.

We will require all markers to shoot in a “semi” mode of fire. 13 bps max. We will allow response triggers as long as they fall in the guildline of our max rate of fire. Ramping will not be allowed for this game. ALL MARKERS MUST HAVE A Barrel blocking devise, barrel socks are required.

The game will start at 10:00 sharp and run non stop for three (3) hrs. at which time there will be a hour stand down for dinner break. When returning to resume play the teams will keep their same bases as the previous round. You may take additionl paint and air to your base for storage, and these items are safe from enemy players at ALL TIMES. (Please be advised that your all day air ticket is only good for one bottle. If you have multiple air tanks you want filled there will be an additional cost involved.

Players may leave the field at anytime during the game for Air refills and to reload their paint tubes. They must enter and exit the field in a Safe manor, with Barrel sleeves on, and they must remain on until they reach their HQ, at which time they are a live player. We will be running a Hospital/respawn area at each end of the field. These will have water coolers and paper towels in them for your convienience. There will also be a clock in each Hosp. with re-incertions back into the game every ten min. A kill is a solid break on you, your gear or your marker.  

We will not award points for General kills however the HQ’s can be blown at any time for points. There will be an audible alarm at each HQ, that when activated will sound a alarm. Any Items in the base (except players paint and air supplies) are subject to being taken by the enemy. Each side does not have to have a mission card to attempt to blow a base. Although there may be missions of that type.

 We run a 20 ft. rule here at BRP, and would like players to abide by this rule. If you have an opportunity to get closer than that to a player, then ask them to surrender, (they do not have to) or you can barrel tag them, if your that close to another player. We will go over all of these rules and more during game breifing @ 9:15 Saturday morning.

Please arrive early enough to get checked in, your bottle inspected, and filled and pick up your paint supply, and get chrono’d before the Briefing. We will use colored ribbon tape on the front of your masks for identifying the different factions of the game. There will be 3 factions in this game. RED, BLUE, GREEN.  if you have any specific questions that I can answer now, please feel free to ask away. I will not give any details of missions until Sat. morn.

We are working out some details and game info. and would like to announce that Woody and Jes from Gunfighter paintball, in Mandeville, La. will be running the ever popular Tac Ops series of games in 2012. Please stay tuned for the latest details on these events

Well it has been my wish for many years to expand our present playing fields. We are pleased to say we are in the proccess of doubling the size of our present field. With this expansion, when complete BRP will have the largest playing field of any field in the South East. Larger than our nearest scenario field to the west and much larger than any field in Alabama. This will bring the field size close to 60 acres. The good part about this expansion, is that the added area is IDEAL for paintball. If you like BRP because of the varied terrain and shaded areas, then you will love the new areas. The new areas won’t be ready for play just yet, but if I know the folks that work and play here, it won’t take long to get this area set for playing.

The rumor mill is busy with news of a scenario game at Camp Blanding, in Fla. around the end of Jan.

We will try to obtain as much info. on this game and post it here for those that may be interested. This is a MOUT game at one of the best MOUT sites around. It is very difficult to hold games here as it is a working Military base, used for training, but it appears the higher ups are going to allow another game there. This would be a great game for anyone wanting to play close quarter combat situations, among some of the best teams and players in the southeast.
